Ciao! Sarah and Cade are back We are on the eighth day of our trip in Italy and it has gone by extremely fast. The day began with the usual morning practice, this time at 7:30, where we practiced plays for our final games. It was full of six on fives and a good amount of swimming followed by more swimming. Then we had the day to relax and do whatever we wanted to do with our time. Everyone chose to make the trek up to Camogli for lunch and some final site seeing. Unfortunately the weather started to take a turn for the worse, and it has been raining for most of the day. So the girls decided it was perfect day to do homework and rest before one of the hardest games of the week. We played well, better than we have ever played before on this trip, and improvements in the plays we have been working on can definitely be seen in every player’s individual games. The girls on Rapallo Nuoto were nice enough to trade caps and suits for us to bring home. To finish off the day we had a nice bus ride home. And right when we got back to the hotel the lights went off! This scared almost everyone. So far the trip has been very memorable, with new friendships, knowledge, and experiences. Everyone will definitely have many stories to share and keep throughout their lives. Grazie!
